Phurba Tashi
Phurba was born in 1971 and lives in Khumjung. Russell found him working as a cook boy on another expedition and realised that he was being underutilised.
Loppsang Temba
Loppsang Temba Sherpa, from Khumjung, has worked for Himalayan Experience on 32 expeditions over 15 years. The 41-year old has climbed to the summit of Everest eight times (seven times from the north side in Tibet and once from the south side) and has three children – two daughters and one son.
Dorji Sonam Gyalgen
Dorji Sonam was born in Phortse in 1981 and has been on 10 Himalayan Experience expeditions. He has summited Everest 14 times and Cho Oyo, Lhotse and Manaslu once each.
